Craig Scull, Artistic Director of Scull and Bones Dance Company

is a dancer, choreographer, and dance educator based in the Philadelphia and South Jersey region. Recently Craig was commissioned by Temple University Dance Department to choreograph as part of the 2013 Alumni Dance Concert.  He has also presented his choreography for the past 10 years in Philadelphia and South Jersey as part of the Philly Fringe Festival, Inhale Performance Series, Philly Rocky Dance Awards Show, Glue Performance Series, Etc. Performance Series, Show Up and Dance New Jersey, and at Mum Puppet Theater. Craig was also a recipient of the New Edge Mix grant for his dance Bloom. He holds a BFA in Dance from Temple University and in addition has studied dance at the American Dance Festival, Rutgers University, and with independent choreographers in Philadelphia.

Scull and Bones Dance Company poses questions and challenges notions about cultural issues through the use of Dance Memoir, theatrical staging effects, and imaginative movement metaphor. It is the mission of Scull and Bones Dance Company to create audience-engaging, thought-provoking, and evocative modern dance works and to pass on the passion and exciting potential of modern dance.
